What is a Sanitary 3-Piece Ball Valve?
Sanitary 3-Piece Ball Valve is a stainless steel hygienic ball valve designed for reliable on/off fluid isolation in sanitary, high-purity and process piping systems.
The valve uses a precision-machined ball with a central bore. When the bore is aligned with the pipeline, the valve is open; when the ball rotates 90°, the bore is perpendicular to the pipeline and the valve is closed.
The three-piece construction allows the valve body and internal components to be accessed for inspection, cleaning, seal replacement and maintenance without necessarily removing the end connections from the pipeline.
